Choose the source
The source determines which individual contacts WAContact reviews and which fields can be included.
Use the personal-contact records currently available to WhatsApp Web. Group records are excluded from this Contact Export source.
Use individual contacts represented in your chat list. When available, the export can also include recent-message and read-status fields.
Narrow the result
Apply filters before WAContact creates the file so the result matches the contact list you intend to review.
Choose All Accounts or limit the result to contacts WhatsApp currently identifies as business accounts.
Select one or more countries or regions. WAContact derives the country code from the international phone-number prefix; it does not determine a person's live or exact location.
Use labels already available in your WhatsApp account to narrow the contacts included in the export.
Know the columns
Excel and CSV exports use clear columns. Chat List exports can include additional recent-chat context when it is available.
VCard exports use contact names and phone numbers to create a VCF file for compatible contact applications.
