How to Export Contacts from WhatsApp Web

Install WAContact, choose a file format, set the contact source and filters, then create an Excel, CSV or VCard file in five clear steps.

  1. Step 1

    Install and pin WAContact

    Add WAContact from the Chrome Web Store, open Chrome's Extensions menu and pin it so the Contact Export panel stays easy to reach.

  2. Step 2

    Open and load WhatsApp Web

    Go to web.whatsapp.com, sign in and wait until the contacts and chats you need are available before opening WAContact.

    Choose Excel, CSV or VCard

    Select Excel for spreadsheet management, CSV for portable tabular data or VCard for compatible contact applications.

    Set the contact source and filters

    Choose All Contacts or Chat List, then set the account type, country or region and WhatsApp label filters for the contacts you want to export.

    Export and review the file
